I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location is excellent for airport access, but that's about it. The amenities were somewhat lacking, with one pool needing repairs, and the room was quite small. The staff, however, were incredibly helpful, which made a significant difference. 🌟🚶‍♂️

My Standard Queen Room was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The shower cubicle felt cramped, and accessing the chair involved climbing over the bed. Despite this, the bed was comfortable.

The staff were amazing, assisting me with a late check-in and helping with my luggage. They even offered me a buggy ride to my room, which was a great touch!

While the hotel is just a short distance from the airport, it's a $35 cab ride to reach anything worthwhile in the area.
Dining

The food at the hotel was decent, though the prices felt a bit steep considering the options available.
Facilities

There are two pools, but one was in poor condition. The overall fitness and leisure facilities didn't impress me.

The Ibis Darwin Airport Hotel offers convenience for travelers with its close proximity to the airport and friendly staff, though the experience was marred by some less-than-pleasant room conditions. The small room size and issues with the air conditioning really diminished my stay, but a comfortable bed was a plus.

The Standard Queen Room was one of the smallest I've ever stayed in. Accessing the chair required climbing over the bed, and the towels were quite thin. Thankfully, the unpleasant smells from the corridor didn't follow into my room.

Check-in was efficient and welcoming, thanks to the friendly reception staff. They even offered me a buggy ride to my room, which was a nice touch.

While the hotel is great for airport access, it’s not ideal for anything else. A $35 cab ride was needed to reach any attractions.
Dining

The dining options were decent but pricey. I enjoyed the fresh and seasonal products available.

The facilities include two pools, but one was in poor shape. Although the other pool was quite nice, the overall maintenance could be improved.

My stay at Ibis Darwin Airport Hotel had its highlights and drawbacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, helping me with a late check-in after a flight delay. However, I found the rooms to be quite small and some amenities not up to par, especially given the price.

The Standard Queen Room was one of the smallest I’ve ever stayed in, with limited space to maneuver. The shower was a tiny corner cubicle, and I had to climb over the bed to reach the one comfy chair. It was clean and comfortable, but definitely cramped for anyone traveling with more than a suitcase.
Service
8.0
The staff were excellent throughout my stay. They offered a great buggy service to drive me to the Ibis rooms and assisted with my luggage—an extra effort I truly appreciated, especially as I’m 75 years old.
Location
5.0
Location-wise, the hotel is good for proximity to the airport but quite far from everything else. The $35 cab ride to the city is a definite downside.
Dining
5.0
The food was decent, but I found it a bit pricey for what was offered. I would recommend checking prices before dining.
Facilities

There were two pools, but one was not in great shape while the other was quite nice. The shared reception with nearby hotels was a plus, making check-in convenient.

My stay at the Ibis Darwin Airport Hotel had its ups and downs. The staff were super helpful, especially when I arrived late due to a flight delay. However, I found the room quite cramped and the location not ideal for exploring the area beyond the airport.

Rooms
5.0
The room was remarkably small, just enough space to open my suitcase. Fortunately, the bed was comfortable, but I struggled with the layout, needing to climb over the bed to access the chair. The thin towels and buzzing electronics at night were also a letdown.
Service

The staff were excellent. They went out of their way to help me with my luggage and even provided a buggy ride to my room, which was a nice touch after a long day.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is great for the airport, but it's a $35 cab ride away from anything else. The Ibis rooms are tucked away in the back, requiring a bit of a walk and some stairs, which wasn't easy in the heat.
Dining
6.0
The food I tried was decent but definitely on the pricey side. I enjoyed some buttery croissants during my stay, adding a little comfort to the experience.
Facilities

There are two pools, but one of them was in rough shape. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service to the airport, which is a definite convenience.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the Ibis Darwin Airport Hotel. While the new pool and bar area were lovely, and the location was perfect for accessing the airport, my room was quite small and not very well maintained. I faced some issues with late check-in and surprising room changes, affecting my overall comfort.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small and cramped, with a corner shower that felt like a space-saver (not great for someone tall like me). Despite that, the bed was comfortable, which was a silver lining.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were friendly and efficient, which made check-in easier. They even offered me a buggy ride to my room, which was a nice touch, especially given the distance.
Location
5.0
The hotel's proximity to the airport is definitely a plus, making travel convenient. However, getting to other locations requires a decent cab fare, and parking was limited, especially if your room is further away.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were decent but a bit on the pricey side. I tried some homemade pasta which was enjoyable, but it didn't quite justify the costs.
Facilities
5.0
The upgrades to the pool and outdoor reception area were great. However, one of the pools was not in good condition, which detracted from the overall appeal.
